As someone with no previous experience of painting I can’t recommend Diarmuid’s oil painting classes highly enough. He is an incredible teacher and is extremely passionate about what he does. He is very friendly, welcoming, encouraging and supportive to both the experienced artists and the beginners and there is always a warm, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. It is mindfulness at its best but there are plenty of laughs too. I gained a strong understanding of colour mixing and oil painting techniques and I am surprised and delighted with the work I have completed to date. The art Diarmuid produces himself is a testament to his talent and is truly inspirational. However he is always very modest and always maintains that anyone can paint once they acquire the skills. I couldn’t have hoped for a better class and would highly recommend it to anyone, beginner, intermediate or advanced. I can’t wait for classes to resume again once the restrictions are lifted!!
